The tragic loss

I am sorry to say that my Bernese mountain dog Sandy-Belle got hit by a car and died. I loved sandy. She was a wonderful dog and I miss her so much! She always made me laugh, wether she was digging something out of the garbage or walking thru the onion patch I planted she was too funny.
I miss you sandy-Belle, you always made me happy.
You were so silly when you came to the door when it was raining and tried to get the door open last week! You were an awesome Christmas present, Thank you Dad and Mom.
Dad would have to try to sneak out of the house so he wouldn't get caught by you. It never worked though, you would always get him *smile*
I will always miss you sandy!

Our dirt day

We had a family field trip this past week, literally, we were out in a field. Dad had some work to do at the job, so we thought we'd tag along.

Cameron helped Dad on the Bulldozer pulling the scraper behind it. He had a lot of fun with Dad.

Notice we both have something to shield our eyes with!

I think I remember praying for a nice sunny day the night before. Well, the sun was so bright you could see your shadow every where you went.

That would be awsome if we all could do our school work outside, when its warm that is, (the two of her knees were bright red from a sunburn).

Thankfully no one got de-hyghdrated!

This is what the job looks like. Dirt, dirt and more dirt.

Sometimes you get to see one of these.

Alyssa & I helped put silt fence in with two other guys.

This is what silt fence looks like up close.

We took the 4-whelers along with us to the job. Funny story, we girls couldn't get them in the truck on our own, so we took them out to the shop and hoisted them up on the crane=) You can probably see that Lincoln's facial expression is not the cutest, he had just cut his finger and was not very happy.

Incredible creation

A couple of nights ago I was feeding the goats with Dad and I looked up at the sky, with all the bright stars in it; I thought How Amazing, How did God do that? As I thought this a song popped into my head and this is how it went:

Indescribable! uncontainable!

You made the stars and the sky,

And you know them by name.

You are Amazing God!

Isn't our Savior so incredible!? He made everything Perfect, everything so beautiful. He is an AMAZING God!
Psalms 19:1
The Heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Our Family

This is Dad, he keeps himself occupied with Dirt, machines, putting the little boys to bed, occasionally falling asleep while doing so; and teaching us kids more and more about the Bible, construction and anything else that would be of importance in our journey through life. Oh, did I already mention Dirt? He likes it so much he has an excavating company. He is an Amazing Dad!

This the famous Mom, everybody needs one of those. She keeps busy with her motherly duties around the house and outside in the summer. Mom also keeps us kids in line…I’m just kiddin’. In short she is the Chore MasterJ She is also the computer geek of the house. She can be found late at night researching various subjects of curiosity on the web.

The oldest of us kid’s is Alyssa. She is a wonderful big sister to us younger ones of the clan. She is a great musician, loves getting greasy and driving fast cars. She also enjoys her instruments. She plays Guitar, Mandolin, Dobro, Fiddle, Upright Bass, and Banjo. Also, is a great helper around the house, if there’s somethin’ to be cleaned she’s on it! Alyssa is going to graduate from high school this year, She’s excited. She is already in college learning Business Administration.

I am the second oldest (of course) Mikaela; I greatly enjoy reading the Bible, learning more about Jesus and growing closer to God each day he gives me! At one point in my life I was involved with gymnastics, until I got a Osgood Schlatters. I love hanging out with Alyssa and meeting new people is always fun, too. Shopping for new clothes, accessories and music is lots of fun to do on a rainy day or a weekend. I have been accused of being the fashion queen. Right now I am reading the book of Psalms. And I also really like Animals; Rabbits, Horses, Goats, Dogs, and just about anything else

Then we have Cameron; his time is mostly spent out on their dirt patch in the back yard, or playing with his younger brother. He is a non-stop talker. When Dad has a long ride home at night we send Cameron with him, and he keeps him awake and talks non-stop. Cameron also loves to design machines and other little thing- a-ma-bobs that I don’t now how to describe; with Lego’s, paint and other fun toys.

Last but definitely not least, Lincoln, he has an extremely high level of energy! He is either on or off. He is an amazingly good 4-wheeler driver. He loves to play with guns, play toy, air soft guns, BB guns and paintball. Whenever Lincoln shoots his little guns he always sets up targets like, pop cans and little orange earplugs (he actually hits them). Lincoln enjoys his time outside with his brother on our trampoline, the dirt patch and driving 4-wheelers.

Did I say he has a lot of energy?
