::More Than Meets The Eye::

few days ago Alyssa and I had the opportunity to look thru the eye of a macro lens....*heart flutters* One word.... *amazing*!!!

These aren't things you get to see on an everyday basis...Seriously, who would think to make

life so beautiful? I think we need to look thru the eye of a macro lens more often. 'This' is the 'amazing' work of God.

Who would have thought to put a 'Turtle' inside a flower?

Who would have thought to put so much 'color' and detail into one little object?

And what about a 'Dragon/sting ray thing' inside a puny little burst of shape?

Or little flowers your eye could not even clearly see 'inside' another flower?

Who would have thought to have put pin-stripe 'vanes' on petals?

And who would have thought to coat a tiny work of art with 'velvet' ?

I can tell you this, not me!

Kids...Don't do this at home!

I was going to have the title of this post be "uh-o's on Yoder lane" but

considering the fact that the only one having "uh-o's" lately is....ME. so here 

they are...ready or not...

  

The other day we had some friend over, & while they were here

we had a "Nerf war" (it was way fun!)....Mind you...we were really into it! Like jumping

over couches, rolling on the floor into it! Well, I had a button on my back pocket and that as where my phone was at. 

That's how the screen got shattered!

There is tape over the front of the phone...that's why it doesn't look that bad:-)

Yes, I broke them. That means I'm really strong, right?

All that caused this was me looking  in the purple mirror that is laying on the floor! I didn't think I was that ugly;-)

Oh, that is (more like was!) the phone case that I had on my phone.

At the top of it where you see the silver-ish color is where the button hit it...

A journey back thru the weekend

Oh...I don't know where to start. Hmmm...that's a good place.

Friday, Mom found out that Josh Turner was going to be at the Jones county fair. So Mom talked with Dad about it & they decided that this would be fun. A couple hours past by & it was time to load up! It had been a busy day & Mom, Alyssa & I never got around to making Sandwiches to take along. So we contemplated that fact & decided to go to ~Chick-fila~ and get food there. Alyssa, Chris & I were the "drive thru" for the day. Um, yeah..that sky was bright & sunny when we went in!!! It was more of a darker blue when we were re-entering the van. We get on I-80 to go to I-380/I-218 and guess what, rain! Finally we get there. Quickly we put our plastic rain coats on, jump out the car, RUN for the gate, get in and search for shelter. Well, actually we went to were the show was going to be cause some peoples' had to take a potty break, I won't say names;-) Then we went to the 4-H building to wait for Dad because he went to park the van, bless his heart!

Dad gets back & we are all together again (in body that is, maybe not all in mind=p). It is still raining=( After awhile Dad went to find out how long the concert was going to be delayed. He returned with only sad news...'bout an hour or so. Did you know that when you walk up and down the same isle's & look at the same stuff more than once you kind of would like to re-locate?

There was a tent outside that was fairly day & we gladly joined the people in it! Hey, it was dry!!! So we waited & waited and watched as the rain came down. Dad went to find out how much longer it was going to take more that twice & they gave him the same answer each time. After awhile they got their act together & we took our seats. Well, we got to see the opening act. It didn't rain for her but it did for Josh! We never did get to see Josh turner, all tho that was a good thing! Because some how Lincoln got stomach ache & lost it all. Poor boy! He was fine the rest of the way home & the day after. We got home around 1:15, and we were all happy to see our beds!

Saturday, Mom,Alyssa & I went to the Rebalution in Des moines & out for supper at Cracker Barrel.

Sunday(today), We all went to church in the morning. We have been having it at a school auditorium cause our Church got flooded out in case you were wondering. Then our friends called us & asked if we wanted to go boating on the Mississippi river with them. We were out the there until about 5:30-6:00. Had a great time!

*breathes in heavily & breathes out heavily* we did have lots of fun tho' ! quote; We do not want to go back to tomorrow. We want to go forward.
